FCA Scotland were delighted to have seven of our young people come along to a participation event. After having delicious pizzas delivered for dinner, our young people were happy to help us prepare a contribution for the local food bank. These items have been collected by young people, foster carers and staff over the last few months. We also raised £126.00 from our prize raffle at our recent 20th anniversary celebration and spent this money on further supplies to be included within this donation.
We then had a good discussion with the young people about future event planning for next year, as well as hearing some of their ideas for future fundraising / charity opportunities including bake sales, charity walks and Easter Egg campaigns. These will be discussed further at our next participation event.
